The Metro, a Crosley authentic reproduction, was inspired by a 1940's classic. It's hard to take this beauty for granted with its nostalgic appearance and timeless lines that take you right back to the decade when radio technology was considered a state-of-the-art advancement. This faithful replica is rich in history and stylistic in appeal, proving there's definitely something to be said for simplicity. The Metro ?bookshelf style" radio features wrap around woven grill cloth channels, a side mounted cassette player and incorporates Powel Crosley's fascination with airplanes with its illuminated airplane-style tuner dial. Just like an original, the Metro is crafted in beautiful, genuine sliced hardwood veneers and hand rubbed to perfection.
